Online Compassion Cultivation Training with Leslie Lockyear and Monica Eyer

CCT is a multi-week personal and professional development course designed at Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education and taught around the world by Certified Facilitators. The program includes practical tools and exercises designed to enhance your awareness, compassion, and resilience.
CCT will support you to improve your relationships with friends, family, clients, patients, staff, and coworkers.
You’ll walk away from each CCT class with tools and practices you can immediately put to work. CCT will help you:
- Improve awareness
- Increase connection to others
- Decrease the distress you may feel in difficult situations
CCT is a two-hour weekly class that includes:
- Large and small group discussions to share learning experiences
- Guided meditation to improve awareness
- Listening and communication exercises to build compassionate interactions
You’ll also have daily homework of one guided meditation per day and informal practices to try as you go about your day.

Leslie Lockyear
Leslie is an entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the creative industry currently working in Interior Design for both corporate and private clients. She is a mother of three grown children and loves to spend time with her granddaughter. A Cambridge graduate with a degree in Education and French, she has long been passionate about finding and integrating a path to greater well-being and happiness through compassion, both at home and in the workplace.Compassionate leadership and prevention of burnout are areas in which Leslie is particularly interested and she sees it as a great privilege to be able to share the teachings and practices of the Compassion Cultivation Programme she has found to be so beneficial in her own life.

Monica Eyer
Monica is an educator teaching Spanish and English languages and literatures. She mostly works in Switzerland, but also collaborates by teaching and doing teacher-training in different regions in the Himalayas (Mustang/Nepal/India). In addition to becoming certified as a CCT-Teacher in early 2021, she has been practicing meditation and studying contemplative sciences within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for many years and has a meditation instructor’s degree from Tibet Institute Rikon, CH. Monica seeks to present Compassion and Meditation within the language of the modern world and encourages rational and critical enquiry, believing in the simplicity of sitting meditation as the universal ground for natural insight and compassionate action.
