Lori Wong is the founding teacher of Insight Meditation Central Valley, a graduate of Spirit Rock’s Community Dharma Leader program, and an ordained Buddhist minister. She has been teaching mindfulness meditation since 2009 and practicing since 2003. She was a founding director of the Buddhist Insight Network, a board member of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies, and the Insight Meditation Center.

Lori has offered mindfulness and compassion workshops for Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. She has taught CCT since 2014, including collaborating with the Stanislaus County Department of Aging and Veteran Services to teach CCT to a group of family caregivers and a group of veteran social workers who provide services for war veterans, and is teaching CCT at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA to healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, and leaders). She has been practicing Insight Meditation and mindfulness since 2003 and has a BS in Physics.
