Ashley Seidel Potvin, PhD, is a researcher and educator in the Renée Crown Wellness Institute at University of Colorado Boulder. She works in partnership with preK-12 educators to bring compassion to school and classroom communities, designing and teaching programs focused on supporting educators to cultivate and deepen compassion. Her research employs qualitative methods to examine teacher learning and wellness, teacher-student relationships, and the development of caring and inclusive classrooms. She was a middle and high school teacher, and she has experience supporting teachers in various roles as curriculum leader, coach, and university instructor. She is thrilled to join the community of CCT Teachers!
