Marc Schaefer is a consultant, coach, mediator, and Certified CCT teacher with a deep commitment to integrating compassion into leadership and organizational culture.
With over 20 years of executive and leadership experience in the European banking industry, startups, and consulting, he brings a unique blend of real-world business acumen and human-centered leadership. Marc has been engaged in compassion-based practices for years, completing the Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) at Stanford’s CCARE in 2019 and later becoming a Certified CCT Teacher in 2024. His work focuses on fostering compassionate, values-driven leadership to create healthier, more sustainable workplaces.
Marc holds a Diploma in Business Administration from St. Galler Business School, studied at the University of Cologne, and is a Consultant of Applied Compassion through Stanford University’s CCARE.
