Natalya Yim, RN, MSN, MBA, CPAN, Caritas Coach, a perioperative nurse working in a large hospital in Los Angeles. She is pursuing a PhD in General Psychology, focusing on Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with her research centered on self-compassion and self-care in nursing. With 17 years of bedside nursing experience, Natalya recognizes the essential role of compassion in nurse well-being—a crucial aspect often neglected in healthcare. Her experiences with burnout and emotional exhaustion have highlighted this need. Inspired by the teachings of the 14th Dalai Lama and Jean Watson’s caring science theory, Natalya is dedicated to promoting compassion among her fellow nurses, fostering an environment of care through ongoing dialogue and support.
