Dr. Eva Hertz is clinical psychologist, researcher; lecturer and author based in Copenhagen, Denmark. For the past three decades she has worked with people’s psychological response to suffering due to somatic illness, e.g. people living with aids and cancer, people in palliative care and people suffering from stress and trauma. She is the founder of the Danish Center for Resilience. Her mission is to contribute to workplaces in which we perceive meaning, joy, connectedness and can stay resilient. Eva works with stress management, design and teaching of psychological resilience training programs in private and governmental organizations e.g. hospitals and the army. She has been a meditator for more than 40 years and has attended multiple retreats in Kopan Monastery, Katmandu.
